Terms of service.

1. Acceptance

By using this site, creating an account, or making a payment, you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the site. ForemanQuote is built for businesses; where you nevertheless act as a consumer, your mandatory consumer rights are unaffected (Sections 10 and 14).

2. The service

ForemanQuote is software for sending professional quotes and invoices: branded quote pages, open tracking, automatic follow-ups, optional three-tier pricing, invoicing, and card deposit collection through Stripe. We host it and run it with reasonable care and skill, and we keep improving it — which means features can change or be replaced over time. ForemanQuote is a tool: the quotes and invoices you send, and the work you agree with your customers, remain entirely your business (Section 7).

3. Free trial

Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial with full functionality. No card details are required to try it.

When the trial ends without a subscription, editing is paused: your account, your data and your sent documents remain intact, and the pages your customers use (quote pages, deposit payment) keep working — a lapsed trial never blocks your customer. Subscribe at any time to pick up where you left off, or ask us to export or delete your data.

4. Subscription and price

The early-access price is €29/month, locked for as long as your subscription remains active. The standard price after launch is €39/month and can change for new customers; any price change for existing subscribers follows Section 15 (Changes). Billing is monthly in advance through Stripe; applicable taxes are shown at checkout.

You can cancel at any moment through the customer portal in your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, and nothing further is charged.

If a payment fails, we tell you by email and Stripe retries it. After a short grace period (currently 3 days) editing is paused until payment succeeds. Your data is never deleted because of a failed payment.

5. 30-day guarantee and refunds

If ForemanQuote isn't for you, email team@getforemanquote.com within 30 days of your first subscription payment and we refund that payment in full. No reason required.

The €1 reservation is refundable on request up to 60 days after payment (Section 6). Refunds are processed via Stripe within 7 business days.

6. The €1 early-access reservation

Before general launch, you can reserve a spot with a €1 deposit, processed by Stripe. It is a real charge and not a subscription: your card is charged nothing further until you explicitly start a paid subscription. The €1 buys you:

It is fully refundable on request up to 60 days after payment. If we fail to open general access within 6 months of your deposit, every deposit is refunded automatically without you having to ask. Before launch we make no service guarantee: no uptime SLA, no feature promise, and no go-live date is contractually binding.

7. Getting paid by your customers (deposits)

If you connect a Stripe account in Settings, your customers can pay deposits by card when they approve a quote. Deposits settle directly in your own Stripe account — ForemanQuote never holds your money. We currently charge no platform fee on deposits; if that ever changes, we will give you advance notice under Section 15. The payments themselves are subject to Stripe's own terms.

The contract for the work is between you and your customer. You are responsible for the accuracy of your quotes and invoices, for performing the work, for your tax and invoicing obligations, and for your customers' statutory rights. ForemanQuote is not a party to that contract, not a marketplace, and not an escrow service.

8. Your data and your customers' data

The quotes, invoices, prices and customer details you put into ForemanQuote are yours. We process your customers' personal data only on your instructions, as described in the privacy policy, and you can export your data as CSV at any time from the app.

Only enter customer data you are entitled to use. When your account is deleted, we delete your data within 90 days, except records we are legally required to keep (such as invoice records, up to 10 years).

9. Acceptable use

Do not use ForemanQuote to break the law, send spam or deceptive messages, issue fraudulent quotes or invoices, harass others, attempt unauthorized access, scrape content at scale, or interfere with the service. We may suspend accounts that violate this section (Section 13).

10. Consumer right of withdrawal

Where you buy as an EU consumer, you have the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU: write to team@getforemanquote.com within 14 days of payment and we refund within 14 days of receiving your notice. Our 30-day guarantee and 60-day reservation window are longer and run in parallel — use whichever serves you better.

Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer-protection rights granted to you by the law of your country of residence.

11. Availability and no warranties

The service is provided “as is” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We run it with reasonable care and skill but do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or virus-free, and we offer no uptime SLA. Keep your own copies of records you cannot afford to lose — the CSV export exists for that. Features may change as the product evolves.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability under or in connection with the service is capped at the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (for a €1 reservation alone, that is €1). We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Nothing in this section limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, death or personal injury, or any other liability that cannot be limited under Italian or EU law.

13. Suspension and termination

You can cancel your subscription at any time (Section 4) and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for material breach of these terms or for non-payment after the grace period; where reasonable, we warn you first. After termination, Section 8 governs your data, and you can request an export before deletion.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Italy, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence are unaffected. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by writing to us will be heard in the competent court for Italy, or, where consumer law requires, the court of your place of residence.

15. Changes

We may update these terms. The Last updated date above reflects any change. Material changes that affect subscribers or reservers are announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect; if you do not accept them, cancel before they take effect and Section 5 applies. Continued use of the service after a change indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
